The Westgate is a city gate in Winchester, England, the United Kingdom.
ウェストゲートは、ウィンチェスターの街への2つの現存する要塞化された門の一つです（もう一つはキングス・ゲート）。ウェストゲートは、12世紀に再建され、13世紀と14世紀後半に改築されました。ウェストゲートは、ハイストリートが門の周りを通るようになった1959年まで使用されていました。現在、建物は、博物館になっています。
The Westgate is one of 2 surviving fortified gateways to the city of Winchester (the other is Kingsgate). The gate was rebuilt in the 12th century and modified in the 13th and late 14th centuries. The gate was in use until 1959 when the High Street was routed around the gate. Today the building is a museum.
