The Church of the Holy Rude (Holy Cross) is a church in Stirling, Scotland, the United Kingdom.

The Church of the Holy Rude (Holy Cross) is a parish church of the Church of Scotland. The church was founded in 1129 and is the 2nd oldest building in the city after Stirling Castle. This Gothic church was rebuilt in the 15th century after Stirling suffered a catastrophic fire in 1405. The church is one of 3 churches still in use in the United Kingdom that have been the sites of coronations (The others are Westminster Abbey and Gloucester Cathedral). In 1567 the infant son of Mary Stuart (Mary, Queen of Scots) was anointed James VI of Scotland at the age of 13 months in the church (later he was anointed James I of England in London in 1603).
