The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) is an art gallery in Glasgow, Scotland, the United Kingdom.
現代美術館は、1996年に開館した美術館です。現代美術館は、王立取引所広場にある新古典主義の建物にあります。建物は、元々は、三角貿易（奴隷貿易）を通して富を築いたある裕福なグラスゴーのタバコ卿のタウンハウスとして、1778年に建てられました。その後、建物は、1817年にスコットランド王立銀行によって購入されました。建物は、王立取引所になり、1827～1832年に改築され、ファサードのコリント式の柱、上部のクーポラ、過去の家屋の背面の大ホールなど多くのものが加えられました。
The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) is an art gallery opened in 1996. The gallery is housed in a Neoclassical building in Royal Exchange Square. The building was originally built in 1778 as a townhouse of a wealthy Glasgow Tobacco Lord who made his fortune through the triangular slave trade. Afterwards the building was bought by the Royal Bank of Scotland in 1817. The building became the Royal Exchange and was reconstructed from 1827 to 1832 with many additions such as the Corinthian pillars to the facade, the cupola above and the large hall to the rear of the old house.
