The Bath Assembly Rooms is a complex of assembly rooms and a museum place in Bath, England, the United Kingdom and is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the City of Bath.
バースは、ジョージ王朝時代に当世風になり、バース・アセンブリールームは、クイーンズ・スクエア、サーカス、ロイヤルクレッセントの間の地区における舞踏会、演奏会、賭博のための新しい場所として、1769～1771年に新古典様式で建てられました。バース・アセンブリールームは、大舞踏会とともに1771年に開館し、流行の社交界の中心になりました。
The Bath Assembly Rooms was built in the Neoclassical style from 1769 to 1771 as a new venue for balls, concerts and gambling in the area between Queen Square, the Circus and the Royal Crescent since Bath became fashionable during the Georgian times. The assembly rooms opened with a grand ball in 1771 and became the hub of fashionable society.

The building of the Bath Assembly Rooms made of Bath stone has rooms arranged in a U shape. The assembly rooms include 4 main rooms such as the ballroom (30 metres long and the largest Georgian interior in Bath), the tea room, the card room and the octagon. These rooms have gorgeous crystal chandeliers and are decorated with fine art. The ballroom was used as a cinema in the 20th century. The assembly rooms were bombed and burnt out during the Second World War. Subsequently the assembly rooms were restored and reopened in 1963.

The basement of the building of the Bath Assembly Rooms provides a home to the Fashion Museum (known before 2007 as the Museum of Costume). The museum focuses on fashionable dress for men, women and children from the late 16th century to the present day. The museum has more than 100,000 objects. Visitors can try on some dresses in the museum.
