Adelsgatan is a street in Visby, Sweden and is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Hanseatic Town of Visby.
ヴィスビュー旧市街は、バルト海に面した斜面に建設されました。斜面は東に登っていきます。斜面の頂上は、海抜約40メートルです。
The Old Town of Visby was built on a steep slope facing the Baltic Sea. The slope goes up to the east. The top of the slope is approximately 40 metres above sea level.
非常に見晴らしがよい通りが、商店街アデルスガータンに平行して走っています。通りには、子羊がいる見晴らし台があります。子羊は、ヴィスビューの象徴で、ヴィスビューの紋章にも描かれています。通りからは、息をのむようなヴィスビュー旧市街の街並みと海を見渡すことができます。ヴィスビューは、ストックホルムとともに、スタジオ・ジブリの1989年のファンタジーアニメ「魔女の宅急便」の港町コリコのモデルの一つでもあります。
The street commanding a fine view runs parallel to the shopping street Adelsgatan. There is a viewing platform with a lamb on the street. A lamb is a symbol of the city and is depicted on the coat of arms. The street overlooks a full view of the breathtaking townscape of the old town and the sea. Visby is one of the models of the port city (Koriko) of the 1989 fantasy anime Kiki’s Delivery Service by Studio Ghibli along with Stockholm.
