The Chapel of St. Roque (Il-knisja ta’ Santu Rokku) is a chapel in Mdina, Malta.
聖ロクス礼拝堂は、カトリック教会の礼拝堂です。現在の礼拝堂の場所の元々の礼拝堂は、聖十字架に献堂され1393年には存在していました。その後、その礼拝堂は1681年に撤去され、1798年に聖ロクスに献堂された礼拝堂が建てられました。このバロック様式の礼拝堂は、光の聖母を描いた小さな絵があることから、光の聖母の礼拝堂としても知られています。
The Chapel of St. Roque (Il-knisja ta’ Santu Rokku) is a Catholic chapel. The original chapel on the site of the present chapel existed in 1393 under the dedication of the Holy Cross. Afterwards the chapel was demolished in 1681 and another dedicated to St. Roque was built in 1798. This Baroque chapel has been also known as Our Lady of Light because a small picture depicting the Virgin of Light was installed in the chapel.
