The Powder Tower (Pulvertornis) is a tower in Riga, Latvia and is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Historic Centre of Riga.

火薬塔は、1330年に初めて記録の中で述べられました。火薬塔は、元々は中世の要塞の塔の一つでした。火薬塔は、1650年に現在の姿になりました。火薬塔は、1919年に戦争博物館になり、1937～1939年に再構築されました。火薬塔は、高さ25.6メートル、直径14.3メートル、壁の厚さ3メートルです。
The Powder Tower (Pulvertornis) was mentioned in records for the first time in 1334. Originally the tower was one of medieval fortification wall towers of the town. The tower acquired its present appearance in 1650. Afterwards the tower housed the War Museum in 1919 and was restructured from 1937 to 1939. The tower measures 25.6 metres in height and 14.3 metres in diameter.
