Paulskirche (the Church of St. Peter) is a church in Munich, Germany.

The Church of St. Paul is a church of the Catholic Church. The church was built from 1892 to 1906 in the Gothic Revival style. The main tower is 97 metres high. The church was destroyed by air raids in 1944 during the Second World War and was rebuilt after the war. In 1960 an American Convair C-131D Samaritan aircraft operated by the United States Air Force (which had taken off from Munich-Riem Airport and was unable to maintain altitude due to the failure of an engine) struck the top of the main tower and fell into a tram car. All 21 aircraft occupants died. 32 people on the ground were killed and 20 were injured.
