Toompea is a hill in Tallinn, Estonia and is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Historic Centre (Old Town) of Tallinn.

トームペアは、400かける250メートルの大きさで周りの地帯よりも30メートルほど高い長方形の台地です。トームペアの名前は、大聖堂の丘を意味するドイツ語に由来しています。エストニアの伝説によると、トームペアの丘全体は、カレフ王の墓陵であり、妻リンダが彼女自身の両手で無数の石を積み上げて造ったとされています。トームペアには、タリン旧市街の息をのむような街並みを見渡す数ヶ所の展望台があります。
Toompea is an oblong tableland which measures about 400 by 250 metres and is about 30 metres higher than the surrounding areas. The name derives from the German word Domberg meaning Cathedral Hill. According to a myth, the whole hill is the tumulus mound over the grave of King Kalev built by his grieving wife Linda (who piled up countless boulders with her own hands). The hill has several viewing platforms overlooking the breathtaking townscape of the Old Town of Tallinn.
