Mozartkugel is an Austrian confection.

A Mozartkugel (Mozart ball) is a small and round sugar confection made of pistachio marzipan and nougat that is covered with dark chocolate. The confection was originally created in 1890 by Salzburg confectioner Paul Fürst and named after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (born in Salzburg). Hand-made Original Salzburger Mozartkugeln are manufactured by the descendants of Fürst up to today while similar products have been developed and are generally industrially produced by numerous confectioners.
