中宮寺（ちゅうぐうじ）は、聖徳宗の寺院です。本尊は如意輪観音（にょいりんかんのん）です。
Chūgū-ji Temple is a nunnery of Shōtoku-shū. The principal image of the nunnery is Nyoirin (a wish-fulfilling jewel and a wheel of dharma) Kannon (Bodhisattva of Compassion).
中宮寺は、かつて聖徳太子の母である穴穂部間人皇女（間人皇后）の宮殿でした。7世紀初めに聖徳太子によって尼寺に改修されたと言われています。中宮寺は、現在法隆寺の隣にありますが、元々は500メートル東にありました。本堂は、高松宮妃の発願で1968年（昭和43年）に建てられました。
Chūgū-ji Temple was once the palace of the mother of Prince Shōtoku. It is said that the palace was converted into a nunnery by Prince Shōtoku in the early 7th century. The nunnery was originally located 500 metres to the east though the nunnery is today next to Hōryū-ji Temple. The main hall was built by Princess Takamatsu in 1968.
